The state of the art track at Maine Indoor Karting is specifically designed to accommodate the Sodi pro-line karts you’ll race with. It’s 1200 feet long and 25 feet wide, with room for up to 16 racers. The track features straight-a-ways as well as corners and hairpin turns to challenge drivers at all skill levels. Tire barriers and special monitoring by the track marshal help keep drivers safe during every race.

Racing at Maine Indoor Karting is an exciting adventure, but safety is of the utmost importance. All racers must watch a safety video prior to their first race of the day, regardless of experience. Everyone wears uniforms and helmets, and a track marshal supervises all race activities. There is absolutely no bumping allowed on the track at Maine Indoor Karting.

Each race at Maine Indoor Karting consists of 8 minutes of incredible driving time. A special computerized timing system judges timing down to the 1000th of a second. At the end of your race, you’ll receive a print-out of your performance, including overall results and timing for each lap. Winning a race at Maine Indoor Karting is exciting, but the real thrill comes from roaring around the track.

You must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license to race at Maine Indoor Karting. Juniors can obtain a Maine Indoor Kart license to participate in special programs for youth racers. Parental consent forms are required for anyone under the age of 18 to participate in races at Maine Indoor Karting, and adults must sign a waiver.
